WordPress Translator Gold now ships with 8 Translation engines for giving you more languages, better load balancing and better fail-over support for different languages.

Your blog now can be translated to 41 major languages including new languages like Hindi, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Hebrew and many more.
Note: 41 language support is for English blogs only. For blogs in non-English languages) please refer to the translation matrix.

Translator Plugin Gold has been tested for all the latest versions of WordPress including but not limited to the yet unreleased WordPress 2.7 beta, WordPress version 2.6.x, as well as earlier versions.

Added Features and Bug Fixes

1. Fixed an annoyance for certain users using Engine 3 where a strange number was added to the translated pages at the top. This has been fixed.
2. Few very popular blogs using Translator Gold faced translation issues with Engine 3. This version ships with a workaround for the problem with a new option for providing an alternate hidden URL or IP address.
3. Removed Google popup for pages translated by Google translation engine. This was a much requested feature.
4. Several new translation engine errors has been added to the database for automatic handling and recovery.
5. Added more filters for automatically identifying invalid pages and handling them.
6. Character set issues for some non-English language translations has been fixed.
7. Re-factored certain sections for greater efficiency and better maintenance. In spite of adding all these new features, the code size remained almost same.
8. Fixed a subtle background refresh problem in this release. This will enable background refresh to cover more pages in a given time period and with the same background refresh delay.
9. Eliminated unnecessary rewrite rules in this release.
10. The default order of translation engines have been changed for English language blogs to better  balance the load between translation engines. This will not affect users who are upgrading. However even they are encouraged to distribute the load between different translation engine to prevent overloading any single translation engine.
11. Added capabilities for faster debugging in case of problems. This helps our support team to rapidly isolate problems, if any, and suggest steps for rectification.
12. Removed a duplicate index from list of suggested MySQL database indexes; MySQL indexes are suggested for better performance in popular blogs.

Option page Layout fixes

1. Option page display problem in IE 6 has been fixed.
2. Combo box / choice display problem in option page has been fixed.
3. There was a possibility of language combinations showing up in option page which wasn’t really supported for the chosen base language. This has been fixed.
4. Changed option page layout to flexible layout so it displays better in various admin themes.
